Simple Vanilla Pudding

I am up to my eyeballs in fresh eggs so what better way to use them up than in yummy desserts. My favorite go-to is creamy vanilla pudding. 


Simple Vanilla Pudding
Yummy easy to make vanilla pudding.

  1. 2 1/4 cups whole milk
  2. 1/3 cup sugar
  3. 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  4. 2 rounded tablespoons cornstarch
  5. 3 yolks lightly beaten
  6. 3 tablespoons butter, cubed
  7. 1-2 teaspoons vanilla
  1. Heat the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a pot.
  2. When milk mixture starts to simmer whisk in egg yolks.
  3. When the pudding thickens up to ribbon consistency then remove from heat and strain through sieve.
  4. Stir in butter and vanilla. Chill for at least two hours before serving.
