Classic Hummus

While store bought hummus can be nice and a time saver, nothing beats homemade hummus. It’s also pretty fast to make so you should definitely give it a try.

  1. 2 cups of cooked chickpeas
  2. 1/2 cup tahini
  3. 1/4 cup olive oil
  4. 2-4 cloves of garlic, to taste
  5. juice of 1 lemon
  6. salt to taste
  7. water for thinning
  8. paprika, optional for garnish
  9. olive oil, optional for dipping
  1. Place chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, salt garlic, and lemon juice in food processor or blender. Pulse to get the ingredients moving.
  2. Blend on high and drizzle in water to reach the consistency you like.
  3. Serve and enjoy.
