Chocolate Glazed Buttermilk Mini Donuts

It’s National Doughnut Day and what better way to celebrate than by making these easy and delicious chocolate glazed mini donuts!

Fun fact, Doughnut Day had it’s start from World War 1. Volunteers were tasked with supporting the troops by providing food. They discover that the battle helmets were great for frying up doughnuts. The Salvation Army decided to honor these volunteers by dedicating a day to them and promoting it with fundraising.

These donuts are so fun to make and the flavor combinations are endless!
