Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes

I love these pancakes. They are so easy to make, so fluffy, and I love the tang that the buttermilk gives to them. These are perfect for slow mornings and to make for holiday mornings.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs, room temp

  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.

  2. Combine buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs in a bowl.

  3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.

  4. Heat a non stick pan or griddle on medium to medium-high. Use butter if needed. Place the desired amount of batter onto griddle and cook until no more bubbles form and edges are dry. If the pancake is too dark when flipped, turn the heat down.
