I love yaki mandu! It’s one of my favorite snacks or appetizers. I usually make a whole lot of these and freeze them so I can just pull them out when I want since they can be time consuming to make.
I love checking out the produce section of specialty stores. I was going through Mi Pueblo, a local latin American grocery store, when the bright pink color of the cranberry bean pods caught my eye. I had to buy some!
I just got back from an amazing trip to Puerto Rico and I’m excited to share some of the dishes I picked up while there. My version is slightly different as I cut down on some of the steps to save time but the flavor is still there. I will also so that sofrito is typically blended until smooth before cooked but I like the chunky vegetables in the rice. It’s up to your preference though.
If you are a gardener or know a gardener then you are probably being flooded with zucchini right now. Fear not because this recipe is a delicious way to use up the zucchini and even share it with friends. I use it as a sneaky way to my hubby to eat some veggies:)
I love beets! I love the color, the taste, and they are pretty good for you. This salad is a mixture of earthy, sweet with salty creaminess. It’s the perfect way to enjoy beets for the first time.
I’m back! Thanks for being patient while I took a small break. If you’re new to me and Kimchi & Cornbread then welcome.
While store bought hummus can be nice and a time saver, nothing beats homemade hummus. It’s also pretty fast to make so you should definitely give it a try.
This recipe is so delicious and so simple. I was introduced to crockpot pulled pork by my friend Kim B. many years ago along with homemade barbecue sauce. I love that it’s easy, can feed an army, freezes well, and is a crowd pleaser.
It’s grilling season and I know everyone is cooking wonderful gourmet burgers. The best way to enjoy those burgers is on a wonderful Brioche bun. These buns have more substance which makes them awesome for holding your juicy burger.
I love this time of year and I love when peaches start rolling into the farmer’s markets. It’s a promise of the sunshine and hot sunny days that are coming. Unfortunately the first peaches aren’t that ripe yet but I always feel the need to buy a basket or two. One of the best ways to enjoy them now are in a beautiful pie.
